SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

W. Eric Wood is a Nebraska attorney and has been actively practicing across the state for more than 34 years.  He has been active with the Nebraska Department of Agriculture’s Mediation Program and Nebraska Farm Hotline, the Center for Rural Affairs, Legal Aid of Nebraska and the USDA Farm Mediation Program since 1990.  Wood has been an Agriculture Clinic legal counselor during that period and has served as an agriculture mediator for more than 10 years.   He is presently an approved mediator on the mediator panel for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska.

With extensive legal, financial, management, business and mediation experience, Wood is well positioned to assist parties with resolving a variety of disputes. Wood’s education includes a Masters in Business Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Juris Doctorate from the Creighton University School of Law. Since 1999, Wood has owned a successful manufacturing business that he and his son manage.  His extensive management and business experience is a valuable asset when mediating business, contract, real estate and banking disputes. Eric Wood uses a collaborative mediation approach rather than an intermediary approach.
